How did Black Bow Chauffer come about?
We feel very lucky that we’ve been able to couple our love of cars with our desire to excel in the business world to build a company like Black Bow Chauffeur. Many years ago, after trying ( unsuccessfully ) to find a luxury chauffeur service ourselves, we realised there was a space in the market and decided we wanted to be the ones to provide it!
We are the only service of our kind!
What services do you provide and what makes you different to other car companies?
At Black Bow Chauffeur we pride ourselves on a very personalised and professional service from the moment we begin planning & booking with a couple, right through to the day of their wedding. We know how important ( and busy! ) weddings can be, so we like to ensure that we are doing everything we can to promise that the couple’s wedding transport will be as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We have a range of luxury vehicles to choose from including Stretch Limousines, luxury European sedans and larger vehicles such as Land Rovers, luxury People Movers and even mini buses.
We do everything we can to ensure a couple’s experience with us is the best it can be and also offer red carpet services, sparkling wine and glasses in our Stretch Limousines, music connectivity and chocolates and flowers as an option.
Our staff are local and always happy to talk over the phone with couples.
Technology has changed all parts of our lives. What technology(s) have had the biggest influence on the wedding car industry?
Technology has enabled us to connect with couples from all walks of life!
It has also helped us to really stay on top of the finer details. From up-to-the minute weather forecasts to ensure our drivers are prepared and ready for what nature may throw at them, our staff and drivers being only a press of the buttons/touch of the screen away from couples enabling us to stay in touch easily on the day, and of course, technology has given us more opportunities such as this to network with other high class wedding service providers such as yourself Andrew, to ensure we remain a strong part of the South East Queensland Wedding Industry.
When couples are thinking about wedding car transfers what do they need to consider?
The most important thing to consider is what they want from their experience with us!
Vehicles are a very large part of a couple’s wedding experience, and not only provide a transfer service ensuring safe and seamless travel between locations, but they also make appearances and often highlights in a couple’s wedding photography. A vehicle can also provide comfort and a quiet space on the day. Every couple is different and we love hearing about what we can do to help make their day spectacular!
Your drivers have obviously driven many couples. What tips do they have to make the day go smoothly?
The best thing a couple can do is communicate with us and really let us know exactly what they want from their wedding transport experience so we can tailor make a package that not only gets them where they need to be, but also helps to ensure their wedding is everything they want and more!
Allow for time! If we could give one piece of advice, we would say ‘Give yourself extra time!’. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to feel rushed between venues or commitments so make sure you allow for extra time between stops.
And, if changes pop up as they often do, let us know. We are always happy to help wherever we can. Communication is key!!

If a couple asked you for a honeymoon location recommendation, what would you say?
Niramaya Villas and Spa, Port Douglas is a tropical oasis with all of the luxuries you want on your honeymoon…We can also help you with your travel up there!
After a big day at work what do you like doing?
There’s nothing quite like a good meal and some family time together.
When hitting the kitchen what is your hero dish(s)?
We love our slow cooker! Delicious snacks cooked in minutes!
The retail world is changing, do bricks and mortar retail outlet(s) still have a place in your life?
Bricks, mortar and the retail outlet still plays a big role in our company. While our service and time with customers is on location, it is our head office that gives us the space to create personalised tailor-made packages for our customers. Our staff work closely with each other and drivers to ensure nothing is overlooked!
We’re a tight knit family here, passionate about what we do and that’s one of the reasons why Black Bow Chauffeur can offer such high-class service!
Favourite Brisbane restaurant?
Blackbird Bar and Grill, Eagle Street do an AMAZING Baked + glazed eggplant with native tamarind relish and young coconut salad!!! Not to be missed.
What are you watching on tele?
We may be a little partial to Married at First Sight… it’s a guilty pleasure!
If you could drive a dream car what would it be?
The Maserati MC20 looks sensational, but we think our cars come pretty close!!!
